A PSV Eindhoven fan entered the field of play and tried to attack the Sevilla goalkeeper.
But things didn’t go to plan as Marko Dmitrovic turned on him and laid the fan on the ground until stadium security arrived and took him away.
After the match, the goalkeeper of Sevilla said: “Nothing like this has ever happened to me. I don’t want to talk because I don’t want to say what I think. I’m glad I was able to fight it off and I’m glad I held back because a lot could have happened at that point. He wanted to hit me, it’s a pity that this happens on a football field. UEFA must intervene”.
PSV won 2-0 but were eliminated after losing the first leg in Spain 3-0.
