The idea to create the European Superleague outside the jurisdictions of UEFA and FIFA, returned to be a concrete alternative after the European Court of Justice gave the “green light” to develop such a competition initiated by Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus, with the “whites”, who are currently maintaining a neutral position, in all this “mess”, since president Agnelli is no longer in charge of the club.
However, despite the decision by the European Court, there were many clubs that refused to participate in the Super League, and recently in Italy, the Federation wants to make sure that none of the clubs will be in this competition.
The Italian Federation has come out with a decision where it is emphasized that any club that participates in the Super League or in a competition that is not organized by UEFA or FIFA, will be immediately excluded from the championship.
This clause has been approved and now the Italian clubs know their fate if they ignore UEFA and FIFA to go to the Super League, although, apart from Juventus and Milan, they have maintained neutral positions, the rest of the Italian clubs have expressed themselves totally against the Super League and the creation of this project.
