Lionel Messi has become a blessing for Inter Miami, but also for MLS itself, but the “flea” is not expected to stay long in the USA, not only because of his age.
Argentinian media reveal that the world champion has decided to retire from football with the team where it all started, Newell’s Old Boys.
Messi will leave the USA in 2025 to join his first team in his native country.
This is also seen as a move to be in better shape for the World Championship that will take place in 2026.
The same line is expected to be followed by his friend Neymar, who in 2025 has decided to return to Santos to end his football career.
