Genoa has dealt a heavy blow to Rome as it has defeated it with a deep score of 4-1. Mourinho is known as a careful coach who plays with even the smallest detail, but this does not seem to be happening with Roma, as the team is slipping out of his hands.
The home side took an early lead through Gudmundsson, while Cristante equalized to set up the idea of an easy turnaround, at least after that 7-0 win over Empoli two weeks ago. However, Genoa managed to score 3 more times, sealing the score at 4-1.
In the first 6 weeks, Mourinho’s Rome has managed to collect only 5 points and holds the 16th place in the ranking.
