
The filming of “Gladiator 2” was stopped after a serious accident in Morocco. Six crew members had to be rushed to hospital when a huge explosion started a dangerous fire.

So far, there is no further information about the accident, but everything seems to indicate that it was a special effects attempt gone wrong. Others report that it happened during the filming of a dangerous scene.
Several crew members were injured on the set of ‘GLADIATOR 2’ while filming a stunt sequence.The crew members have all been treated and experienced non-life-threatening injuries.
As foreign media reports, there were many injured in the shooting group, while the production company, Paramount Pictures, has officially commented on the event.
“During the filming of a scheduled scene, an accident occurred in which several members of the production crew sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Medical and security teams on the ground were able to act quickly so that those affected immediately received the necessary care. All of them are in stable condition and continue to receive medical treatment,” Paramount Pictures said.
Meanwhile, filming has been suspended indefinitely.
