Inter has taken a safe step towards the Champions League final, as it defeated Milan 2-0 in the first leg of the semi-final.
Zikaltri started the meeting at a high pace, while the Reds and Blacks were very sleepy and conceded two quick goals, first with Dzeko and then with the Armenian Mikitarian.
The following minutes, until the referee’s final whistle, were more or less the same. Inter defended well and tried to take a risk with a counterattack, while Milan almost never managed to risk the opponent’s goal.
Now, with a two-goal difference, Inzaghi’s team goes very quietly to the return match next Tuesday.
