TechnologyTikTok user @yorgoandlea shows in a video the steps to follow to learn what the network has taught us about our lives.
In the video, she shows how entering Google search by writing ‘ad settings google’ is registered with her data, and then goes to a list where it can be seen that the network has registered your age, gender and the languages you can speak.
In the information it was seen that the woman was also interested in ‘architecture’ and ‘radio equipment’.
The video has been viewed tens of thousands of times and has been flooded with comments from people expressing surprise at how much data Google knew about them.
One person wrote: “Oh my God. I tried it too – so much information!”
Someone else commented: “And it was completely accurate.”
A third wrote: “That’s why I always remove these options.”
But there were others who checked for themselves and found that the information was incorrect.
One person said: “This says I’m 44+ when I’m only 19.”
Another ironically supported it: “Apparently I’m 65 years old and I’m interested in Utah and reality TV.”
As you may know, web search engines record information about all users, such as videos you watch, location, attached documents or advertisements known as ‘cookies’ and pretty much everything you click.
Google says that it does all this ‘so that the services are as good as possible for you’.
It explains that in this way services and advertisements are more specific for certain people (such as Search or YouTube), from partnerships with other networks or advertisers.
Google promises that it never sells your data but only ‘targets ads when you’re online’ – but without giving your information to advertising companies.
If you don’t like this, then everyone can choose to turn off the ‘ad personalisation’ option on the Google network – which you can find on the same ad settings page where your information is personal.

Culture LifeStyle What's HotFor 17 years, the scientific community has been trying to shed light on the mystery of five members of the Ulas family in southeastern Turkey who walk on all four limbs.
The Kurdish family lives in isolation in a remote corner of Turkey. However, some of its members seem to have put a “shield” on three million years of human evolution. Initially, Turkish scientists spoke of evidence of “regressive evolution”.
Of the 19 children born to Rezi and Hatis, who walk straight, five brothers walk with all four limbs, write the newspapers “Daily Express” and “Daily Mirror”. At first researchers thought it was a throwback to the evolution of standing.
But unlike the primates from which humans evolved, the Ulas brothers don’t use their fist to walk, but their palm like monkeys do. Some scientists have described their condition as “regressive”, prompting criticism from other experts who argue it is a combination of “genetic” factors.
Sisters Safiye, Hacer, Senem and Emine as well as their brother Hüseyin have received disparaging comments from villagers in the southern Turkish province of Xatay (near the border with Syria). The family had a total of six children who walked on all four legs, but one died at the age of five.
Family members may be the missing link between humans and apes, scientists say.
Those who walk on all fours are harassed by the wider environment and therefore, mostly women, prefer to move near their home.
Although they did not go to school, they managed to learn the Kurdish language to communicate with other family members. For more than 20 years, the family’s existence remained hidden, until two British scientists came across an unpublished paper by a Turkish professor in 2005.

TechnologyThe FBI and European law enforcement agencies say they have taken down a massive network of hacked computers that were used to defraud thousands of people out of millions of dollars.
The Department of Justice seized over $8 million in cryptocurrencies from hackers and removed the code from an unspecified number of “hacked” computers in the US and around the world.
“This is a serious blow to the Russian-speaking hacking gang’s Qakbot hacking application, which has been causing harm to people and government agencies around the world for years,” a spokesperson for the Department said.
The operation can be considered the latest achievement in the FBI’s aggressive efforts to crack down on known hacking tools that allow cybercriminals to take millions of dollars out of Americans’ pockets.
“This is a concerted effort to target services that other cybercriminals are using around the globe,” a senior FBI official said in an interview.
The tool the FBI targeted in this case, known as a botnet, is an army of infected computers that hackers often use for a variety of scams. It’s an inexpensive way to amass digital power that can knock critical services like schools or healthcare providers offline.
Qakbot has been active for about 15 years, but the use of the tool by gangs of hackers seeking ransom added urgency to law enforcement efforts to penetrate the group’s infrastructure. The investigation culminated late last week, when the FBI redirected the botnet’s Internet traffic through computer servers controlled by the bureau and then issued commands to some infected computers to uninstall the malicious software.

Sports USANovak Djokovic will replace young rival Carlos Alcaraz as the men’s world number one after a routine win on his US Open return.
Serbia’s Djokovic, who lost the Wimbledon final to Alcaraz, won 6-0 6-2 6-3 against France’s Alexandre Muller in Monday’s night session in New York.
Djokovic, 36, was not allowed to play in the United States last year because he was not vaccinated against Covid-19.
He has returned knowing another title will be a record-equalling 24th major.
Matching Australian Margaret Court’s all-time tally is Djokovic’s target and he made a statement start by breezing past 84th-ranked Muller.
“I started tremendously well, we started quite late but nevertheless I was excited to go out on the court – it has been a couple of years,” said Djokovic, who will spend a record-extending 390th week at the top of the ATP rankings.
“In the second and third sets I dropped the level of my serve and I had to work for the points a bit more. Nevertheless I played great and I liked the level.”
Having not started until 23:00 local time, the three-time US Open champion showed he did not want to hang around and only dropped eight points in a 23-minute opening set.
A smiling Muller raised both arms in celebration when he finally got on the scoreboard for 2-1 in the second set but the 26-year-old could not stop Djokovic from moving further ahead.
Muller offered more resistance in the third set before Djokovic won the final four games to wrap up victory in one hour and 34 minutes.
Djokovic, who won the Australian Open and French Open earlier this year, is aiming for a fourth title at Flushing Meadows and will play Spain’s Bernabe Zapata Miralles in the second round. He will return to world number one after the tournament.
Top seed Alcaraz, 20, won his first major at the US Open in Djokovic’s absence last year and starts the defence of his crown against Germany’s Dominik Koepfer on Tuesday.
Alcaraz and Djokovic are the joint favourites for the men’s singles title having developed a fascinating rivalry over the past 12 months.
It was bubbling at the start of the season but without both present at key tournaments there was little chance for the pair to go toe-to-toe on the court.
Now the match-up has ignited over the past few months following three compelling contests in the French Open semi-finals, the Wimbledon showpiece and this month’s Cincinnati final.
Alcaraz and Djokovic cannot meet at the US Open until the final as a result of being the top two seeds.

SportsThe places of Real Madrid and Barcelona in the Champions League are in danger because of the scandal of Luis Rubiales. The Spanish FA has asked European governing body UEFA to consider banning clubs over the Spanish government’s interference in the ongoing World Cup ‘Kiss-Gate’ saga.
The request was made by the right wing of Rubiales, Andreu Camps, who has “opened a war” against their government, as the latter have demanded the resignation of Rubiales. Camps defended the president, arguing that with these calls the government is interfering in the Federation and this is strictly forbidden by UEFA and FIFA. And this threat does not only endanger Real Madrid or Barcelona, but also Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad), the Europa League (Villarreal and Real Betis) and the Europa Conference League (Osasuna).
Meanwhile, as Luis Rubiales refuses to resign, the local media write that the fact that UEFA has not yet spoken about this scandal is because their president Alexander Ceferin is very close friends with the head of the Spanish Federation. Consequently, it is easy to understand that UEFA has no plans to take action against the Spanish teams, at least not at the moment.

Politics TechnologyPolish intelligence is investigating a cyber attack on Poland’s railway system.
The BBC reports that hackers interfered with the system, disrupting the operation of trains in the northwest of the country.
The hacker attack was also mixed with Russia’s national anthem and a speech by Russian President Putin. The cyber attack immediately stopped 20 trains, but the service was restored within a few hours.
Russian authorities suspect that the cyber attack was carried out by Russia. Security experts have also said that Russia is conducting cyber attacks in Ukraine to test its hacking tools.
For this reason, many Western countries have called earlier for states to further strengthen cyber security measures.

SportsOleksandr Usyk has defended the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles, knocking out Daniel Dubois in the ninth round.
The Ukrainian and the Briton started the match as a heavyweight duel should, showing composure and composure in the first round.
In the second round, the two boxers each had a shot, while Dubois looked more unsure in the ring.
The third round was dominated by Usyk, who landed direct jabs while the Brit aimed for uppercuts.
In the fourth round, there was an initiative from the 25-year-old, who launched several precise shots against the Ukrainian, but not to cause him problems.
The fifth round was more devastating for Usyk, as he took a kick below the belt from Dubois, which of course was unintentional, while the Ukrainian lay in the ring and the referee gave him time to recover.
Despite conceding the blow below the belt, Usyk landed several straight punches at the Briton, giving signals that he had taken over and was aiming to secure the victory as soon as possible.
The sixth round brought more movement from the two boxers, who landed blows in succession, but neither of them rocked one or the other.
The following round started frantically by Dubois, who delivered powerful blows to Usyk, but the latter managed to come back at the end and show his toughness.
The ninth round was the deciding point for Usyk, as in the remaining seconds he managed to drop the 25-year-old Briton to his knees, with the referee counting to nine. Usyk managed to defend his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles in this round, with Dubois unable to continue the fight.

A very hard-fought match at “Egnatia Arena” where the only goal of the challenge came from the bench. Newcomer to the game, Juri gave the right to coach Ivan Gvozdenovic, who can celebrate this success with the Korça team almost 12 months after returning to the Super League.
On the other side, Egnatia has a negative start but this is only the beginning of the season and Edlir Tetova and his team still have a long way to go.
