“WELCOME TO FREDDY FAZEBAR’S PIZZERIA” and “FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S” fell to fifth place at the box office, grossing just $3.5 million.
Horror movie fans enjoyed this post-THANKSGIVING weekend.
The debut was accompanied by $10.2 million, satisfactory but far from expectations.
The return of THE MARVELS also grossed $10.2 million, down 78% from its opening weekend.
TROLLS BAND TOGETHER premiered and took second place. It was the third animated musical film of the year to gross $30.6 million in 3 days in theaters.
“THE HUNGER GAMES: THE BALLAD OF SONGBIRDS AND SNAKES” premiered and secured the lead, earning $44 million.
It’s one of the weakest premieres of the year, but still enough to secure the lead, this weekend, that we left behind.
