SportsGirona is undoubtedly the nice surprise of La Liga as it now takes the sole lead in Spain. On Sunday night, they beat Barcelona 4-2 in a spectacular match from start to finish.
Friends took advantage from the start with Dovbyk. However, Lewandowski quickly countered and equalized. Even after the Pole’s goal, Girona did not give up and closed the first half with an advantage thanks to Gutierrez’s goal.
In the second half, Barcelona looked for the goal more, but the friends also scored the third with Valer.
The Catalans regained hope with Gyndogan who reduced the difference, but in the end the veteran Stuani left his mark and sealed a historic victory for the Girona team.
Currently, Girona takes the sole lead with 41 points after 16 weeks, Real is in second place with 39 points, while Barcelona is fourth with 34 points.

Business LifeStyleParents in Europe who have planned to buy their children a new cell phone or electronic device as a Christmas gift should think about an alternative solution as delays in the transport of goods from China are also threatening the holidays.
Large container ships carrying “gifts” or essential items for the festive season are experiencing weeks of delays in the Panama Canal, where the water level has dropped significantly, making their movement difficult.
Ships are now waiting a week or two in line instead of the eight to ten hours that used to be the norm.
That means shoppers waiting for new iPhones, TVs, exercise bikes, clothes and tree lights may not get them in time for Christmas.
According to Marine Traffic some 176 ships from China and the Middle East transited the Panama Canal this week, or 71 fewer than last year.
Some companies have paid as much as $4 million to move to the front of the queue and skip wait times, which estimated an overall average of 4.3 days on Nov. 7 to 11.7 days in December, according to data of the Panama Canal Authority.
Before the vital shipping route experienced delays, around 38 ships were crossing each day, but with the limited water level, only 24 ships have been able to cross each day since November 7.
Some ships are rerouting through the Suez Canal to avoid delays. One of them is London-based Slot-Nielsen, but the move is said to be charging customers the extra cost of the longer route, which takes 32 days.
The blockage in the channel could have a wider impact on the entire global supply chain, with experts also warning that Christmas in the UK and Europe will be significantly affected.
Marco Forgione, of the Institute of Export and International Trade, called the delays catastrophic. “There are goods that won’t be here in time for Christmas,” he told the Sunday Mirror.
The cost of food and energy prices could also rise because grain and fuel are among the other major supplies transported through the Panama Canal that are now experiencing delays.

TechnologyAfter many years of waiting, “Rockstar Games” has released the trailer of the long-awaited video game “Grand Theft Auto 6” (GTA6), and announced that the game will be released in 2025.
To the rhythm of the song “Love Is A Long Road”, the first trailer of “GTA 6” introduces us to the two protagonists: Jason and LucΓa (who will be the first female protagonist of the saga). The two will form a “Bonnie & Clyde” type couple and destroy a Vice City that looks bigger and more alive than ever.
The trailer of “GTA 6” has everything we dreamed of: stunning graphics, sunsets, walks on the beach among local fauna, bikinis, sports cars and parties in strip clubs. But to these are added police raids on drug laboratories, TikTok or alligators entering grocery stores.
It was September 17, 2013 when “GTA V” was released. At the time, Donald Trump was nothing more than a recurring joke on “The Simpsons” and Putin didn’t seem dangerous. Locked at home due to a global pandemic seemed utopia. Of course, video game fans would never have thought that the next GTA would be produced after more than 10 years. But now the wait has come to an end. GTA 6 exists. Thanks, Rockstar!

While the 31-year-old is fighting for his life, the police are continuing with the arrests, which have reached 424 so far, to make it possible to identify the perpetrators.
The incidents and the very serious wounding of the policeman “escalated” the developments on many levels. The police issued a statement demanding the suspension of all championships, in all sports.

SportsThe path to the 2024 Copa America final has already been decided. The competition will take place between June 20 and July 14 in 14 American cities, as everyone tries to do their best to stop Argentina from winning the crown again.
“Concacaf” national teams have been invited for the first time since 2016 in this competition. 6 such will join the 10 CONMEBOL national teams for what will be a very competitive tournament. Two representatives of “Concacaf” have yet to be determined.
The USA will clash with Uruguay in the group to see who can avoid Brazil in the knockout stages, but nothing can be taken for granted in a knockout tournament.
None of the groups are particularly easy, as the addition of Concacaf creates more balance, as these national teams had to qualify through the Nations League. Let’s see the complete groups and schedules of the 2024 Copa America:
Group A: Argentina, Peru, Chile, Canada or Trinidad & Tobago
Group B: Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, Jamaica
Group C: USA, Uruguay, Panama, Bolivia

LifeStyle What's HotThe scenarios for the new year are ominous. According to the Doomsday Clock, the year 2024 will mark the end of humanity, writes the British newspaper “Mirror”.
The clock with its hands hovering near midnight (the “Doomsday Clock”) is a symbolic device designed to warn the world of how close doom is.
In 2024, after a year marked by war, political chaos and natural disasters, the situation will be so dramatic that it will lead to the extinction of the human species, but also of the animal kingdom.
“When the clock strikes midnight, there will either be a nuclear war or a catastrophic climate change that will wipe out the inhabitants of the planet,” commented the relevant publication.
The ‘Doomsday’ clock dates back to the early days of the Cold War. The magazine’s articles are mainly devoted to the dangers of nuclear weapons. The symbolic device was created in part by scientists and engineers who assisted in the famous Manhattan Project (1947).

SportsThe Greek football championship has been temporarily suspended due to a boycott by referees and delegates protesting the unsafe conditions they face during matches.
Recently, Greek referees have often become the victims of fan attacks, as some of them have faced accusations of corruption and involvement in match-fixing.
Last month referee Andreas Gamaris was attacked by hooligans with Molotov cocktails, while recently Tasos Papapetrou received death threats for his decisions in a match.
In an open letter to the public, the referees expressed their problems and asked for the public’s understanding of their decision, which they say is in the best interest of football.
“We face threats, violence, physical and verbal attacks, which remain unpunished. Therefore, we have decided not to referee the matches starting next weekend until our safety is guaranteed,” the letter reads, among other things.

SportsThe official match ball for Euro 2024 will reportedly have a microchip for 2-case understanding. The goal is to highlight the moments when the ball is touched by hand during the goal action and, of course, to detect the offside position.
The margin of error will not be zero, but it is intended to reduce them. Over the last few seasons, handball and offside have been two of the referees’ biggest problems when communicating with the VAR room. Ahead of next summer’s tournament in Germany, it has been reported that the Adidas ball will feature the new technology!
βThe microchip will work in conjunction with limb tracking technology that enables real-time creation of 3D visual representations of players’ skeletons. These devices allow video assistant referees (VARs) to create a computerized image that shows exactly where the ball hit the body. The microchip inside the Adidas match ball also allows the technology to precisely time the kick of the ball, which, together with the limb tracking cameras, ensures extremely accurate decisions and identification of the offside position,” writes The Times.

SportsDuring Saturday afternoon’s Euro 2024 draw at the Elbe Philharmonic in Hamburg, Germany, UEFA officials were stunned as audio from erotic films played in the background.
The presenters tried to continue the development of the draw as if nothing had happened, even though this audio was heard by millions of people who were watching the live draw. Despite trying to remain professional, they found it difficult to remain serious and failed to crack a smile.
It didn’t take long and the author took responsibility for this event that will go down in football history. He is Jarvo69, aka Daniel Jarvis, a household name. That’s because he managed to make the same joke during the BBC’s live coverage of the FA Cup third round tie between Wolves and Liverpool in January.

SportsThe International Football Association Board, which sets soccer’s rules, is preparing to take a step forward around the cards that referees can award. In fact, during the last meeting (ABM), the body gave the green light to the orange card testing phase for specific protests and violations.
Experimentation in professional competitions could start from next season in the Premier League. During the last ABM, the body decided to accept requests to experiment with some new measures aimed at improving the behavior of footballers towards match officials.
Among them, in fact, the most sensational new rule concerns the 10-minute suspension, with the orange card, which the match officials (referees) could wave at players guilty of dishonest behavior towards them.
Before this rule is introduced it will need to be tested, with experimentation starting next season. Only after the tests, the IFAB will decide on the relevant rule to include it in the regulations or not.
Another proposal considered is the one related to communications within the field. The captain of each team will, in fact, be identified as the only player who will be able to contact the match official to seek clarification regarding referee selections.
Another tool IFAB can use to protect referees is the body camera. Convincing experimentation, and therefore close to being included in the regulations, for the “live” communication of the referee, after watching an episode in VAR.
