After a long delay, Google launched the Find My Device network for finding phones and other devices “offline” in early April.

This is initially limited to the US and Canada, with a full global expansion planned for late June or early July, with some regions already underway.

The Find My Device network appeared in the UK, but the question is whether it works everywhere because Google is usually slow in such matters.

When Google opens the Find My Device network, a request may appear on your phone asking you to agree to join, and you must accept it if you want to be part of the network.

The purpose of creating this network is that the more members there are, the greater your chances of finding your device if it is lost or stolen. This includes not only Android phones, but also headphones and other devices.

At the moment, this feature only works on the Pixel 8 series of phones, but Google is working with other manufacturers to bring the feature to other phones as well.
