Problems with “Messenger”, hundreds of users report app crashes

Difficulties in using the Facebook Messenger platform have been reported by hundreds of users in the last few hours.
As Down Detector reports in the last few hours, the problems started today around 13:00 in the afternoon and continued until this time.
Some users report that message streaming “hangs” and does not display properly, displaying the most recent messages, while others report that messages are lost.
However, some users are also noticing problems on the Facebook homepage as it is not updating for a while.
