New Android update tells you when it’s time to replace your phone’s battery

According to reports, Google is said to be working on launching a battery indicator on Android smartphones.
This means that when the battery on an Android device starts to degrade, you will be able to check the remaining capacity of your battery; in some form it will let you know when you need to change the battery in your phone.
Currently, Android users have to rely on third-party apps to check battery health.
As reported, Android 14 QPR 2 brings with it a hidden section, “battery health”. Although it currently lacks a dedicated battery health meter, the code implies that it can display details such as “estimated percentage”.
