The Russians bombed their troops, thinking they were Ukrainians
A video posted on social networks shows the moment when Vladimir Putin’s army “accidentally” bombards its troops for two hours north of Bakhmut, thinking they were Ukrainian soldiers.
Conversations intercepted by Ukrainians in July show the state in which the Russian army is in Ukraine. Russian superiors had mistaken their forces for those of the Ukrainians, and thus ordered an attack with artillery and other heavy weapons.
Despite the soldiers who were beaten non-stop for more than two hours calling for a halt, it seems their plea was not heeded. After the Russian bombardment stopped, the Ukrainians rushed in and managed to take the defensive positions of the Russians in a few minutes.
On the other hand, the number of Russian soldiers killed is thought to be many, who were shot by their fellow soldiers.
