Elopn Muks’ comments came after Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey said India threatened to shut down the platform if it did not comply with orders to restrict accounts critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government’s handling of the 2021 protests. .
“If we don’t obey the laws of the local government, then we will be closed. So the best we can do is to work closely with the laws in each country,” Musk said, warning that otherwise “we’ll be blocked or arrested.”
