Innovation in Tik-Tok, promotes group chats with 32 members
TikTok is introducing some changes to direct messages, including the much-requested group chats. The company ByteDance points out that group chats are not yet available to all users worldwide, but those who have the feature can exchange messages in groups of up to 32 people.
A group chat can be started in several ways. The user in the inbox can tap the Chat button located at the top of the screen or the name in the message list and then the button, “More options”. After that, it is necessary to select the friends that the user wants and finally select the Start group chat option.
Another way to create a group conversation is to share a post with multiple people. When the user wants to talk about a video with more than one person, he has to press the Share button and then select the Create Group Chat option. You then have to select the friends you want to send the video to, add a message if you want, and then start a conversation about the sent content.
