German football in mourning, the legend Beckenbauer dies
German football is poorer today after the legendary āKaiserā Franz Beckenbauer passed away at the age of 78.
According to the family announcement, āCesariā passed away in his sleep yesterday Sunday with his family around him.

On January 2, 2024, a documentary on the life of Franz Beckenbauer premiered on the German television network ARD. On the occasion of the documentary, Walterās brother had revealed that things are not going well for Franz.
