The big Apple company has released a new iPhone update (iOS 17.2.1), to fix “important bugs” and prevent battery drain.

When the previous update (iOS 17.2) was released with the Journal app earlier this month, the masses quickly took to social media.

Users were frustrated after downloading the update and noticed that their batteries were draining quickly, this isn’t the first time users say an update broke their phone.

Whether or not Apple has fixed the battery issues with the latest update, the tech giant recommends that users download the update immediately. The latest update can be downloaded immediately or overnight.

However, users need to make sure their iPhone is plugged in for this to happen.

Installing the update is easy, just go to Settings, tap General and Software Update.

Users with compatible devices will automatically see iOS 17.2.1 listed.

Apple recommends users keep their iPhones updated at all times to maintain device security.
