A school principal in southern England has hired an artificial intelligence assistant as her “right-hand man”.
Artificiale, whose designation is “principal director”, according to a report from The Telegraph, citing NOA.AL.
The robot’s main role is to assist the human headmaster, Tom Rogerson, of Cottesmore School in West Sussex.
The chatbot is somewhat like ChatGPT in that it would assist Rogerson with support staff members and other teachers, as well as formulating ways to help students with special needs.The rise of artificial intelligence robots in various fields has raised concerns about their potential impact on employment and social inequality. However, the director is open to sharing this technology with state schools, making the publicly available AI model accessible to a wider audience.
