After the storm “Daniel”, many things changed for the residents of Volos. But apparently, the chaos involved not only the lives of people, but also the lives of animals.

The media in the neighboring country reports on a herd of sheep which, in the absence of their usual food, consumed no less than 300 kg of cannabis.

The flock of sheep were found, completely under the influence of the narcotic plants they had consumed, inside a greenhouse where medical cannabis was cultivated.

“I am very well, but even better are the sheep. They have gone crazy. They see everything in color,” joked the owner of the greenhouse, Yiannis Bourounis, speaking to one of the country’s media.

Bourounis also added that the sheep had started to jump higher than the goats as he explained how the incident happened.

“We are the largest cannabis greenhouse in Central and Eastern Europe. We lost 80% of production due to floods. As we were trying to save as much as we could, we saw sheep and goats eating the plants in our greenhouse.”

As he explained, the herd entered the greenhouse to forage after the floods.

“They consumed the cannabis plants after all their food was destroyed…”

The biggest challenge then was getting the herd out of the greenhouse as, Bourounis says, they started jumping higher than the goats.
