Two hikers have photographed a man who is believed to have lived for at least the last 5 years in the Harz Mountains in central Germany.
The news was reported by the German media, “Bild”, which also distributed a photo with the inscription “Wolf Man” in the mountains of Germany. The climbers said they saw the man almost naked holding a wooden spear in his hands near a ruined castle.
Gina Weiss, 31, and her friend Tobi, 38, were walking in Blankenburg and as dusk fell on Tuesday evening, they came face to face with the “werewolf”. “When we reached the sand caves we saw the wolf man with a spear in his arms. He looked unwashed, as if he came from the history books”, said the girls.
German authorities have stated that they have received numerous reports over the past 5 years of a man living in the woods in Blankenburg.
