CIA seeks Russian spies. The aim is to increase efforts to persuade citizens in Russia to reveal their country’s secrets. For this, the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States of America published a video in Telegram addressed to all people disappointed by their president, Vladimir Putin.
The material was then shared on other platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. The agency suggests that the Russians could act to improve things by passing on information to the CIA but remaining patriotic.
In the published video, instructions are given for Russians to use the Internet search program “Tor” to access the “dark web” and other secure tools to communicate.
“The CIA wants to learn the truth about Russia, and we are looking for reliable people who can tell us this truth,” says the narrator in Russian during the footage.
The hope of the American agency is to get in touch with people who work in the intelligence, diplomacy, science and technology sectors, but without excluding communication with politicians and other citizens who live and work in Russia.
