Tourists and residents of Budva who move through the streets in the old town area with beach clothes or without clothes will be fined 200 euros. This is stated in the Decision of the Municipal Assembly of Budva on municipal order.

“The fines are more rigorous compared to the sanctions that were imposed in the previous decision, and the police of the municipality of Budva is responsible for respecting this provision”, clarified the mayor Miloš Tajić.

With the approval of this decision in the parliament, Budva joined Split and Dubrovnik, which imposed fines on “naked” tourists.

As of August 2020, the city of Dubrovnik has had a similar decision on the order. Tourists in beachwear walking along Stradun and other parts of Dubrovnik will pay inspectors a fine of 130 euros.

At the beginning of this year in Split, a new decision on the order came into force, by means of which fines higher than 150 euros were imposed for violators.
